To create good recordings you have to put aside the textbooks, develop your own ideas and try out new, sometimes potentially risky things.

No money?
Welcome to blumlein records - mobile recording!

My speciality: High-quality (1-20 track) live-recordings and sessions in stereo and surround (24 Bit & 44.1-192 kHz) with my mobile, environmentally friendly studio (traveling by bike, train and bus).

I work with large and small ensembles and regularly cover the following events: Alafia, blurred edges, Baritonale, Festival Eigenarten, Initiative Literatur, International Jewish Music Festival, Jazzmeile St. Georg, LiederGalerie (Hamburg, Berlin, Wien).
Here is the complete listing of my references. The majority of all published CDs has been released with the edition blumlein records.

Besides the practical aspects of my work I also research and lecture on the theory and aesthetics of recording.
